Kingly Mission

Christ our King, came to serve, not to be served. Though one with God, Christ took on the form of a suffering servant and died on the cross. Thus, he was highly exalted and took his place at the Fatherís right hand. As members of Christ's Body, the Church, we carry on his kingly mission through service. Called to be compassionate, we are to love one another; especially the poor. (From the General Plan, Diocese of San Diego)

The kingly mission of Christ is accomplished in our parish as we celebrate our CULTURES as members of Godís kingdom. St. Rose is pleased to have many cultures in our community, bringing their own gifts to the parish. Our parish also accomplishes His kingly mission through our SERVICE to the poor and those in need. Below, are a few ways in which the mission of Christ is being accomplished for His kingdom:
